MORAY COTTAGESSpace to walk, relax and unwind |
How better to enjoy the magnifcant scenery of Moray than by taking to the hills, tracks or beaches and forget cities exist!
Moray offers some excellent walking from gentle paths such as the Speyside way to the hills of the Cairngorms.
The Speyside Way is 84 miles long, including 3 spurs and meanders up the side of the River Spey from the sea to Ballindalloch - but you don't have to do the whole thing!
The coastal path that runs along the Moray coastline offers some stunning views. Visit picturesque harbours and great beaches.
In the summer you can use the chair lifts at the Lecht or the mountain railway at Avimore to get up onto the top of the mountains where the views are fabulous and the air clear.
Even if you are not a serious hiker, there are many lovely walks locally that will enable you to relax and unwind..... just what a holiday should do.
Both cottages have information about cycle routes and walks, together with local O/S maps, giving details of where it is safe for dogs to run free, roughly how long they will take and what the conditions are like.
We also have a couple of mountain bikes available for the free use of guests, at their own risk.
