How better to enjoy the splendour of the countryside than by walking or cycling through it? Your pet will love it as well!

Moray as a whole offers some excellent walking and cycling

The Speyside Way is 84 miles long, including 3 spurs and meanders up the side of the River Spey from the sea to Ballindalloch - but you don't have to do the whole thing!

The coastal path that runs along the Moray coastline offers some stunning views. Visit picturesque harbours and great beaches.

In the summer you can use the chair lifts at the Lecht to get up onto the top of the mountains where the views are fabulous and the air clear.

Many of the roads are quiet and allow cyclists freedom to enjoy the scenery without jousting with juggernauts!

Even if you are not a serious hiker, there are many lovely walks that will enable you to relax and unwind..... just what a holiday should do.

Both our self catering cottages contain a file that provides guests with a list of cycle routes and a list of walks, giving details of where it is safe for dogs to run free, roughly how long they will take and what the conditions are like.
