An exceptional barn conversion that has created two luxury 4 Star self catering holiday cottages open all year round.

Both cottages are equipped to the highest standard and each has a large fully enclosed garden suitable for pets and fabulous views over rolling hills toward Auchindoun Castle.

These luxury self catering cottages are situated in one of the most glorious locations in Scotland.

Just a mile from Dufftown which is at the heart of Scotlands Whisky trail, they are approximately half way between Aberdeen & Inverness and make these holiday cottages an ideal holiday base from which to enjoy the host of activities and attractions that abound in Scotland’s North East. From the Cairngorm National park to the golden beaches of the Moray Coast, there is golfing and fishing, castles and distilleries, not to mention fabulous walking, winter skiing, and outstanding wildlife.

The cottages are set 1000 feet above sea level in a peaceful and totally rural location, with glorious views, surrounded on all sides by fields. Visitors can escape from the noise of modern life.

Although you could be miles from civilization, a short drive takes you around to the other side of the hill to the thriving town of Dufftown. Here you will find everything you need; from pubs, hotels and restaurants; a great butcher, bakery, and shops to a petrol station, garage and hospital.... not to mention 7 distilleries including the world famous Glenfiddich Distillery.

As a base for exploring Northern Scotland, Moray has few equals. From the coast with its long golden beaches and rocky cliff paths where you can watch Seals and Dolphons, to the Cairngorm national park with amazing scenery & wildlife.

There is winter skiing; lots of glorious walking; Abundant wildlife on land and at sea. Explore the Castle Trail or follow the worlds only Whisky trail; Play a round of Golf; Go salmon, trout or sea fishing. Alternatively, just take a well earned break in your own quiet garden.

We welcome responsible owners and well behaved pets. Sorry but we do not accept children under 10.

The owners and your hosts, Robert & Fiona McHugh, live in the old farmhouse set away from the cottages but are on hand should you require assistance or information.
